Heroines of Housing

Join the Oak Park Regional Housing Center for a fundraiser luncheon benefiting its 50th year anniversary and honoring incredible women leaders in fair and equitable housing. This Women’s History Month, we are honoring several remarkable women. Athena Williams, the Oak Park Regional Housing Center’s first African American woman executive director, will be presenting the “Bobbie Raymond Award for Fair and Equitable Housing”. Celebrate the Illinois Affordable Housing Omnibus Bill and the women bringing positive housing change to fruition! The University of Illinois Cancer Center will be networking and partnering with various organizations to address health disparities in breast and cervical cancer in under-resourced communities.
