IBCCP Community Navigation Annual Training 2022

The Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) annual training is a four-day virtual event to overview best practices in breast and cervical cancer community navigation illustrated in the IBCCP Toolkit. The UI Cancer Center team is responsible for the iterative development and deployment of the toolkit. The IBCCP Toolkit training is aimed at guiding community-based navigators in conducting breast and cervical cancer screening navigation and increasing screening rates. The ultimate goal is to reduce inequities in morbidity and mortality rates in vulnerable communities.
