Inequities in health status and outcomes among racial and ethnic groups often are rooted in community-level factors. Recognizing that each community faces unique barriers, our team, in the Office of Community Engagement and Health Equity (CEHE), promotes health equity by reaching women and their families in the Latino community to start conversations about preventive breast screenings.
