The primary focus of my laboratory is on the role of environmental toxicants acting as endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on the development of metabolic dysfunction that underlies obesity, diabetes, lipid disorders, and neurocognitive dysfunction among others. Because hormones play a critical role in cancer biology, our interests in EDCs and other disruptions in hormonal signaling intersect with cancer and the mission of the Cancer Center.
